Founder, Ananke Projects · Founder & Chief Editor, Interstice

Seyram Klu De-Souza is a Ghanaian cultural strategist and creative writer whose work operates at the intersection of arts, cultural diplomacy, and socially engaged practice. Her intellectual and creative interests center on how culture functions as a site of memory, agency, transformation and most recently, ekphrasis.
With academic training in film, international relations and arts and culture management, she approaches cultural production as both a critical inquiry and a tool for public engagement, designing initiatives that position creativity as a force for dialogue, equity, and social imagination.
She has contributed to major cultural initiatives including film festivals, exhibitions, and interdisciplinary arts programming. She is the project lead for Dear Legachi, a transformative initiative dedicated to empowering children across Ghana, through education, advocacy, and the arts.
As a writer, Seyram works across poetry, prose, and creative nonfiction. Her work has appeared in Brittle Paper, Nenta Literary Journal, and the Lucky Jefferson collection, and she was a finalist for the Adinkra Poetry Prize. Her literary voice is noted for its attentiveness to interior landscapes, history, and the quiet architectures through which individuals hold memory and identity.
She is the founder and chief editor of Interstice, a journal dedicated to unfinished works, fragments, and emergent artistic processes. Through her research, writing, and curatorial initiatives, she is committed to building transnational cultural platforms that foster intellectual exchange, support emerging voices, and reframe how creativity is understood as an evolving, human process of inquiry and expression.
“There is beauty in that condition. There is honesty in unfinished things.”
